Group Trips to Prudential Outdoor Learning Center
Bring your school class, scout troup, youth organization, community or church group to the Prudential
Outdoor Learning Center and journey toward a life-long appreciation of living things and commitment to nature.
Greater Newark Conservancy's Prudential Outdoor Learning Center is an urban oasis for learning where
visitors can explore the wonders of nature and the urban environment. Located in the heart of downtown
Newark , New Jersey , the Outdoor Learning Center is the perfect spot for groups to spend part of the
day experiencing interactive, hands-on activities with environmental and horticultural themes. Visitors
will be energized and inspired by this open space filled with lush greenery.
Programming Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
Morning 9 - 11 a.m.
Afternoon 12 - 2 p.m.
After School 3 - 5 p.m.
Twilight 5 - 7 p.m. (seasonal)
Saturday-Sunday:
Morning 9 - 11 am.
Afternoon 12 - 2 pm
*Outdoor Learning Center is currently not open during the months of December,
January and February
