Register in advance to request a Family Cooking Kit with the ingredients to make sweet potato chili! $5. Family Cooking Kits can be picked up from our Farm Stand on Friday, October 16th between 3 and 6:30 pm or on Saturday, October 17th between 9:30 and 10:30 am.

Get outside and enjoy some nature at our Outdoor Learning Center or Urban Farm! Volunteers are a vital part of Greater Newark Conservancy’s mission and operations. You can volunteer as an individual or as a group.
We’re very proud that the opening of our Judith L. Shipley Urban Environmental Center in 2004 marked the very first appearance of an urban environmental center in New Jersey.
