Renewing Renters: Pre-register for the 2021 growing season beginning November 2nd, 2021
New Applicants: Register beginning January 1st, 2021
To register, please email this completed form to jv@citybloom.org or mailing a printed, filled out copy to the Greater Newark Conservancy (32 Prince St, Newark, NJ 07103). Payment will be collected after registration closes and beds are finalized.

Plant your own productive vegetable garden to nourish your body as well as your spirit!
By adopting one of our garden plots, community members can spend time outside in the sunshine, work with their hands and their community to produce beautiful—and bountiful—fresh food gardens. For an annual rental fee, our Plot It Fresh program provides local residents with gardening and farming education, as well as access to gardening space in Newark. As part of the Plot It Fresh programs, gardeners receive startup materials, such as seeds, technical gardening assistance, and access to educational workshops.
In addition to the immediate benefit of learning new skills in farming, Plot It Fresh members will be able to provide healthy, fresh produce fresh for their family while saving on their grocery budget—a gratifying experience all around!
Plot fees for the 2021 season are $15 for 4’ x 8’ plots and $8 4’ x 4’ plots at either:
- Hawthorne Ave. Farm
- Smith St.
